This is an unofficial fan summary. Nothing here is filled in from leaks or rumors. The official product page and the Nintendo announcements listed on the release date page do not mention Master Quest. The 2011 Ocarina of Time 3D announcement is the source this site uses for Master Quest on that earlier version. It does not say the Switch 2 remake includes it.

On the changes page, the Master Quest row is marked Not announced. The original column says Master Quest was included in Ocarina of Time 3D (2011) and on a GameCube bonus disc. The remake column says it is not mentioned in any Nintendo announcement or product page we found.

The Switch 2 page lists Master Quest, and difficulty modes in general, under what Nintendo has not announced. A separate row covers 3DS Boss Challenge mode. That mode is also not announced as such. The new Hall of Fallen Heroes offers rematches, and whether it works like Boss Challenge is unknown. It is not a Master Quest announcement.

What this page is not saying

  • It is not confirmed for the Switch 2 remake.
  • It is not ruled out.
  • A leak is not a source. If Nintendo announces Master Quest, this page and the changes row will be updated.
